TRENCH DECAY medals are the game’s primary currency — spent on classes and upgrades. This page covers every free way to earn medals, from promo codes to daily missions, and what to spend them on.
TRENCH: DECAY Medals
Medals are the currency that keeps your soldier in the fight — the resource you stack up to unlock classes and upgrade your kit. Here is every free way to earn them and exactly what they are good for once you have a stack. The fastest free medals sit in the active codes, and you can total them up with the rewards calculator.
Fig. 01 — Pay and provisionsWhat Medals do
Think of Medals as the pay packet of the trenches. They are the game’s primary currency, and their job is simple: they let you spend on gear and upgrades. In practice that means putting Medals toward unlocking new classes or improving the class you already run, so a growing Medal count directly widens the loadouts you can bring into a deployment. They are not a cosmetic drop and they are not random — they are a straightforward balance you build up and spend deliberately.
How to earn Medals
Redeem promo codes
Fastest free boostMany active codes hand out Medals directly, with no Robux required. Codes are the quickest way to bank a lump sum early — several current codes list Medals in their reward, and you can claim each one once per account from the in-game Supply Codes menu.
Daily & weekly missions
Steady incomeCompleting daily and weekly missions rewards Medals and Crates. Missions can include tasks like playing for a set amount of time or earning XP across your deployments, so they reward simply showing up and pushing the line with your squad.
Daily spins
Free every 24hThe game offers a daily spin that can hand out random rewards — including Crates and rare cosmetics — every 24 hours. It costs nothing to use, so spinning each day is an easy habit that stacks up over time.
Playing the battlefield
Earned in combatYou also earn Medals by jumping into deployments, pushing through the trenches and completing objectives. Because every server shares a live war map, the ground your squad takes contributes to the wider front while you bank rewards for your own account.

Medals vs. Regional Points
Since the Big Bertha update, deployments track a second number that is easy to confuse with Medals: regional points They are not the same thing. Medals are your personal account currency — you keep them between deployments and spend them on classes and upgrades. Regional points measure your squad’s contribution to the shared live war map — for example, hacking one of the new Terminals awards 100 regional points toward the front line. Regional points push the war effort; Medals pad your own wallet. A good shift in the trenches earns you both at once.

The fastest free Medals sit in the active codes list. Grab them from the in-game menu, then keep the daily missions and spin ticking over for a steady income.
